Checkers is just adorable!! He's a 10 month old Lab/basset hound mix male. He will be neutered in late December and is only available for adoption to Accomack and Northampton county residents until after surgery has taken place. Checkers is a small medium size-only slightly larger then a beagle, but he is stocky and weighs 30 lbs. Checkers is a happy puppy who doesn't meet a stranger. He tested negative for heartworms and is on prevention. He's started his puppy shots and wormings.
